Tina is responsible for CCBC membership throughout the province, promoting Canada-China bilateral business exchanges, and organizing events in Ontario.
Tina has over 10 years of experience in international business, economic development, and research. Prior to joining CCBC, she worked on various projects in Canada, China, and the United States, and has extensive knowledge of business development in various Asian countries. Through her recent work in investment attraction and promotion, Tina understands the needs of Canadian businesses when entering the China market.
Fluent in Chinese and English, Tina holds a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service, an MBA degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and an MSc in Business Economics from Queen’s University.
Xi is responsible for membership services and event coordination.
Prior to joining CCBC, Xi worked for the Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Services at the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai where she managed outreach activities and advocacy events for Canadian delegations visiting China. Xi was also the marketing and project manager for China’s largest private education services provider in its Toronto and Shanghai branches. Through her international work experience, she has in-depth knowledge of China’s political and social economy as well as understanding Canada’s cultural, political, and trade relations with China.
Xi holds a M.A. in Comparative Literature with a focus in East Asian Studies from Western University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin, with working proficiency in French and Japanese.
